My Bio
Once upon a time there was a peach. This peach loved to watch things; it was how it learned about the world. This peach's greatest pleasure in life was to help people understand things. However, the peach had a secret; on the inside it despised others, thought it was better than the other fruit, lied, and a myriad of other problems. The peach hid it's curse from the world. On the outside it looked like a healthy, fresh fruit, but the peach knew better; it knew that a dark rot was gnawing away at it from the inside. One day the caretaker of the orchard came by and picked the peach. The caretaker was gathering fruit to be set out for his table; all manner of fruit were in his basket. Once he returned to his home the caretaker began to cut open the fruit to see what they were like on the inside. Some fruit was set aside, the rest was left in the waste bucket. As the caretaker cut open the peach, he could see how the rot the extended all the way down to the core, so deep was the corruption it had wrought. The peach looked up at the revulsion on the growers face and knew he was bound for the waste basket. This was what the peach deserved and the peach knew it; it knew that no fruit so putrid as itself deserved anything but to be thrown away. However the caretaker got out his knife and began to cut out the rotten material. It was painful for the peach. It didn't understand why this was happening; the pain was so great that the peach cried and at some points wished to be thrown away just to make it stop, but the caretaker didn't. He simply continued to cut out the rot and clean the peach. Once he was done he set it on the table with other fruit. As the peach looked around it saw that the other fruit had all had rotten material cut out of them as well. Some fruit had more cut out than others, some were small others large, some fruit were sweet others still were tart; but the peach realized that the grower had picked them all for his table. To say that the process was easy, short, or painless for the peach would be a lie, but to say that the peach isn't better for it or happier now than it ever was before would also be a lie.
